- 2. Addressing representatives of the media, H.E. Mr. Om Prakash Meena, Ambassador of India to Burkina Faso, reaffirmed India's commitment to sharing its development experience, technical expertise and best practices with partner countries, particularly fellow nations of the Global South such as Burkina Faso.
- 3. The Ambassador noted that NFHS-6, one of the world's largest health and demographic surveys, covered nearly 679,000 households across 715 districts in India and provides comprehensive evidence of the country's progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals and Universal Health Coverage.

The survey highlights significant achievements, including improved access to electricity, safe drinking water, banking services and health insurance; greater women's participation in household decision-making and financial inclusion; sustained progress in maternal and child health; higher immunization coverage; improvements in child nutrition; expansion of primary healthcare services; and rapid growth in digital health through the e-Sanjeevani telemedicine platform. The survey also records a substantial decline in spousal violence and continued demographic stabilization.
