Police clearance certificates (PCC)

Applicant is advised to apply for issue of PCC well ahead of time as issue of PCC would only be done after due police verification. To apply for a PCC, you need to submit the following:

• Duly filled and printed online application form (https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/)  with ink signature on the last page in signature box.  Please mention the correct Indian address for police verification purpose. 
• 02 colour photos, Size 35mmX45mm, Pixel 630:810 and Aspect ratio 7:9 with a uniform background white /light blue color. Photo specification
• Please upload your signature. Your signature must be clear, dark, and set against a clean white background. Guidelines for Signature. 

• Self-attested copies of first and last page of your current passport 
• Self-attested copies of your residence permit/certificate 
• If your address is different from that of your passport, you are required to submit self-attested additional document as proof of residence in India.

Please note that you must submit complete application with relevant documents. In case of an Incomplete application due to any missing relevant document will not be processed and there could be delay than usual processing time.

Application can be submitted on all working days between 0900-1200 hrs.
