Incredible India event organized by Embassy of India in Ouagadougou.
On 27 March 2026, the Embassy of India in Ouagadougou, in collaboration with Hotel Bravia, Blue Berry, and Waheguru Travels Agencies, successfully organized a vibrant tourism promotion event titled “Incredible India” at Hotel Bravia.
- The event brought together around 90 distinguished guests, including senior officials from the Government of Burkina Faso, the Director General of Tourism, leading business leaders, and tour operators.
- In his address, Ambassador highlighted India’s breathtaking diversity from majestic landscapes and rich cultural heritage to world-class healthcare and wellness facilities inviting Burkinabe citizens to discover the many experiences India has to offer. A detailed presentation showcased:
- Iconic tourist destinations across India
- India’s unique cultural and heritage richness
- Renowned healthcare and wellness tourism opportunities
- Travel agencies and partners also shared engaging video presentations, offering insights into travel options and tailored services for Burkinabe visitors.
- This marked the first-ever tourism promotion event focused on India in Burkina Faso, and the response was overwhelmingly positive, with participants expressing great interest and admiration.
- The Director of Tourism of Burkina Faso and the online newspaper Le Fasoalso shared highlights of the event on their social media platforms, further amplifying its reach.
