Mr. Bhaskar Bhatt, Ambassador to the Republic of Burkina Faso
Profile
Mr. Bhaskar Bhatt is a member of the Indian Foreign Service. He arrived in Ouagadougou on 7 September 2023 to take up his assignment as the Ambassador of India to the Republic of Burkina Faso.
He has served the Government of India in the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, handling diverse range of responsibilities. His previous diplomatic assignments include Beirut, Dubai, Beijing, Islamabad, Kuwait, Berne, and Bucharest.
Mr. Bhatt holds an Honors degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. He is married and has two sons.
